About the Designer

Born in London, and living between the UK & India, Salita Nanda Kapoor is the Founder and Creative Director of her label. The brand is a reflection of Salita's diverse background exploring the subtle nuances of her heritage with a modern and cosmopolitan approach that reinterpret this vibrant aesthetic.

For further education, Salita studied at the London College of Fashion - University of the Arts, followed by a course in pattern-making at the Milan Fashion Campus in Italy (2011). Shortly after, Salita returned to London, developing her expertise with designer Amanaka Wilmont as a member of the womenswear design team. Here, Salita gained the creative freedom to grow and develop her own vision and distinctive taste.

The Salita Nanda brand showcased their first capsule collection in Mumbai (2015), earning great reviews from Indian and International Press during the prestigious Gen-Next at Lakme Fashion Week. In addition, Salita has presented her collections in various cities around the world on a global stage including Paris Fashion Week, as well as in London, Dubai and Hong Kong.
